Technical University Eindhoven (TU/e) presented its RECAP work on improving Semantic Interoperability at the 2013 IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Healthcare and e-Health, CICARE 2013, part of the 2013 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence, SSCI 2013, April 15-19, 2013.
IEEE CICARE 2013 is the first Symposium of its kind, and brings together leading research and clinical scientists, engineers, practitioners, technology and solution providers in healthcare and e-health from around the world to discuss latest advances in the field of computational intelligence applied to solving the growing scale and complexity of problems in these inter-disciplinary domains
The TU/e presented their paper about 'Semantic interoperability in sensor applications'. The main contribution of this paper is an ontology-based approach and architecture to address the problem with reuse of sensor networks in different applications and the evolution of existing sensor networks and their applications.
